The structure of human consciousness as defined in the Simple Reality Project is that our worldview (beliefs, attitudes and values) determines our identity and our identity drives our behavior. We develop this “structure” throughout with what we call the Three Great Questions: Where am I? (worldview), Who am I? (identity) and Why am I here? (behavior).Becoming conscious beings is our prime focus. As conscious beings we are aware of the illusion inherent in suffering, impermanence, the false self, craving and aversion, the collective unconscious, the shadow, the personal unconscious and reliance on the intellect.Humanity does not need another guru or more profound philosophers. Nor do we need more sage advice characterized by wisdom, prudence, good judgment or precepts. In addition, believe it or not, we also don’t need more people with high IQs. We do invite them along as a cadre of support but they are of little use in creating consciousness.In this book we go beyond the range and limits of the known and commonly-accepted worldview. We surpass our unconscious defenses, reactions and typical modes of thought. We offer the profound answers needed to create a sustainable global community.
